Support & Advice

Having been in the industry for over 30 years, we can offer support & advice for your next project.

Print Bandit offers both litho, the traditional printing process and the much newer and incredibly accurate digital printing on a variety of medias.

We've been using both processes for years and both work very well.

Digital printing refers to various methods of printing from a digital-based image directly on to a variety of medias.

Digital printing is reaching the point where it can match or supersede offset printing technology's ability to produce larger print runs of several thousand sheets at a much lower price. Because of this, digital printing is being used more & more and for short run jobs, therefore savings in both labour and set-up costs are significantly reduced.

We take care of everything from conception to completion. If you already have a design, we'll check it to make sure it's print ready and there are no font or image quality issues. If we've created the designs, it'll be ready to print.

Once the job is ready, we'll deliver it to you usually via DPD.

Yes of course you can. Please just ask here. It'll take you to our contact page where you can let us know a brief description of what you want. We can call you back or email you back if that works with you.

Yes of course we can. Having over 30 years experience in graphic design and have worked on some household names, we'll be able to with your brief, come up with some designs for you to look over, approve or change as you see fit before we go to print.

A laminate is a thin, transparent piece of plastic that is applied as a coating to printed items. With our best selling business cards, we can offer a MATT lamination, a GLOSS lamination or a SOFT TOUCH lamination.

The difference being that MATT will give depth to your design. GLOSS will give a more vibrant look to the colours and the SOFT TOUCH offers a much more luxurious finish. People often say that it has a velvet feel.

Quite simply, uncoated paper will not have a coating on it, therefore it can be written on. So like a letterhead, or a compliment slip. A desk pad is another example. It can also be overprinted, so you can put it through your printer at home for example.

Coated papers are usually used for leaflets and flyers so for example a silk or a gloss paper. Usually these cannot be written on so you wouldn't want to use this type of paper if you were taking notes at a show for example.

Crop marks and often called trim marks or cutting marks are small lines near the edge of an image or area to be printed. We use these lines to guillotine your job to the correct size.

Bleed area is usually 3mm and sometimes 5mm bigger than the images you actually need. So if you are having a large colour for example at the top of a page, we need the 3mm in case the print moves in the guillotine, and the movement can be minor but it prevents a small white line appearing if the job has moved, giving you a nicer, much more professional look.

We print everything in CYMK, which stands for cyan, yellow, magenta and key (which is black). This is the process commonly used for the printing process.

CYMK is recommended when producing the artwork as if supplied in RGB, there will be a slight colour shift in the process once converted in our workflows.

We print many thousands of booklets and magazines with a self-cover. It simply means that the cover pages use the same paper as the internal pages.

Yes of course we can. Please click here to go through to the contact page and ask for a call back, or write to us in detail what you would like us to quote on. We'd love to help. We can offer you a bespoke quote based on your project.

Yes we do offer the service for you on our 450gsm matt laminated business cards only.

Because of the process of spot UV, the process takes a little longer so please bear that in mind if you need them quickly!
